Just a 40 minute drive (20 miles) south-west of Victoria, Sooke is nestled among the dramatic Sooke Hills & overlooked by the spectacular Olympic Mountains in Washington State.  Explore the natural harbours, magical rainforests, spectacular sunsets & numerous hiking/biking trails. Our local waters offer some of the world's best year-round salt water fishing - including huge salmon & halibut in season.

Our B&B is located one mile from the village centre. Just a short walk to the Sooke Harbour Marina, Government Wharf & the Boardwalk & crabbing dock! Enjoy Whale Watching, Zip Line, Diving, Hiking, Golfing, Surfing,  Kayak & Bike Rentals, local Arts & Crafts Shops, Historic & scenic points of interest. Sooke has a great dining choice to suit all tastes and pocket books - from a picnic on a log to world famous fine dining!

Bird watchers, naturalists & sunset strollers are drawn to Whiffin Spit Beach (one mile from the B&B) - a natural breakwater which shelters Sooke Harbour from the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. Over 500 bird species call this region home.  East Sooke Park offers one of the best sites in the Pacific Northwest to observe the fall Raptor migration (starting mid-September).
