Cycling in Greater Victoria


You can travel on the 55-kilometre Galloping Goose Regional Trail and Lochside Trail; from the BC Ferries near Sidney BC to downtown Victoria BC or out Sooke BC, and beyond. Experience urban back streets and waterways where every turn in the trail leads to a new and exciting outdoor adventure. Cycling Tours in Saanich circumnavigates the Municipality of Saanich. -- Need to rent a bike, there are several bike rental business providing the things you need plus loads of advice. Coastal Cycle & Watersports is located on the Old Island Highway next to the Galloping Goose Trail. Switch Bridge Tours at Selkirk Station is located near the Selkirk Bridge on the Galloping Goose Trail. Another great cycling resource can be found at Cycling in Regional Parks and Trails where cyclists are welcome in regional parks and trails on trails specifically designated for cycling. -- Remember to ride with safety in mind and don't forget to tell us about your biking experiences.
