FALL FAVORITES IN VICTORIA

Fall is a fantastic time of year in Victoria. Get out and enjoy, kick leaves, walk beaches, bike the Galloping Goose Trail then stop at your favorite place for coffee, conversation or just people watch. Hatley Park colors are spectacular as the vines on Hatley Castle go from greens to bright reds. Walking the Gorge Waterway may give you a glimpse of migrating birds, a seal looking for food or kayakers paddling against the tide. If timed right you will see the reversing falls under the Tillicum Bridge. This site is sacred to our First Nations people and there is information posted about the site under the bridge. It can be accessed by following the walkway from Kinsmen Park. Later in the evening you might drop by 1550s, Pescatore's Seafood Grill or Pessaro's Greek Italian Restaurant for dinner depending on whether you want a casual meal or a more formal repast. How about sharing your thoughts on ways to enjoy Victoria this season.
