Review for Whiffin Spit Lodge Bed Breakfast & Willow Cottage. After ten days of exploring Vancouver Island, we and another couple arrived at the B&B for a night of relaxation. Sheila met us at the door and quickly made us feel right at home. The accommodations are very spacious from the bedrooms to the dining area to the large family room complete with books, fireplace, and cable television. We decided on a light meal for supper and drove to the local market for soup, cheese, and crackers. After returning to the B&B, Al appeared and proved to be a very cheery host. As we needed to leave quickly the next moring, Sheila proposed an early breakfast time and several meal options designed to help us on our way. We had a lovely visit and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Room Tip: We stayed in the Pine and Green rooms - both were extremely satisfactory.
Review for Whiffin Spit Lodge Bed Breakfast & Willow Cottage. Needed an affordable, convenient place to stay for a family funeral in Sooke. Found this B&B online; the photos/map location looked ideal. It was even better in person: centrally located to places I needed to go, modern rooms/bathrooms with all comforts of home, excellent breakfasts, & gracious, helpful hosts. Two guest rooms side-by-side on main floor made it fun & easy to connect with my cousins during our stay. Didn't view the 2nd floor suites or private cottage, but I'm sure they would be perfect as well. Beautiful grounds, access to private patios. Close to nature tourist attractions.
